GC is often used by us because residual solvents are a must-test item, and many raw materials need to be detected by GC.
GC is often used by us because residual solvents are a must-test item, and many raw materials need to be detected by GC.
Generally, if it is found to be abnormal in the experiment, it can usually be checked by several aspects such as gas path, circuit, and detector.
Here are some experiences with GC failures, shared with you:
1. Failure of the gas path: the gas input is not normal, the gas type is not correct or the purity is insufficient, the gas path is leaked, the gas path is blocked, the gas path is polluted, the gas path component is faulty, the flow rate is improperly set, the column problem is, etc.;
2. Partial failure of the host circuit: abnormal startup or initialization, partial failure of temperature control, faulty keyboard or display part, abnormal opening and closing of the switch, improper setting of range attenuation, other functional faults, etc.
3. The detector output signal is abnormal: no signal output, zero offset of the output signal, unstable output signal, and incorrect value of the input signal;
4. Other faults: abnormal gas source, abnormal grid voltage, abnormal secondary instrument, mechanical fault, etc.
